7-Days Itinerary in Sardinia: the towns and beaches of the North-West
The one-week itinerary will allow you to know all the main attractions of the north -west of Sardinia. Starting from Alghero, which we can take as the basis of the itinerary, we travel along the coast between the picturesque towns of Bosa and Castelsardo. Do not miss the La Pelosa beach and the Neptune Caves. Let’s start!
Overview
Alghero: do not miss the walk on the ancient ramparts and the streets of the historic center. From the ramparts you can admire one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life. Don’t believe it? Go to Instagram and tell me if I’m not right ?!
Capo Caccia: it is located a few km from Alghero. At the base of the promontory there are the Caves of Neptune that must be visited. But even the whole park of Porto Conte actually deserves a little more than just a visit
Bosa: one of the most characteristic villages in Sardinia. The low colored houses that are reflected on the Temo river. The castle from which to admire the view of the whole village. Drink a glass of Malvasia, an excellent local sweet wine
Argentiera: unlike the other beaches, the argentiera beach has something ancient. Maybe it will be for the old abandoned mine behind him or for his sunsets? Go there to find out
Stintino: staying to observe the colors of La Pelosa beach can take several hours. We recommend going early to fully enjoy it. The beach is truly spectacular. Gorgeous
Asinara: since you are in Stintino take a boat and visit the island of Asinara. Many excursions to choose from, better to opt for the one between sea and land so you can visit both the coast and the interior of its natural park
Castelsardo: when it appears almost suddenly along the highway it will leave you speechless. The view of the castle and its ancient houses and the color of the sea. It looks like a postcard, and observing it from afar makes its beauty even more.
